How to Track Visits on Cloud Pages

1. Add the Code Snippet to the Cloud Page:

Step 1: Drag and Drop the HTML content block into your template

Step 2: Add this code into the block

OR

Insert the code by clicking on highlighted option (Insert Code Snippet)




Click the Envelop Icon



Select Track Landing Page option under Shared folder then select “Code Snippet Used for Tracking



Click Done Editing button after selecting the code snippet.

2.  Add the Cloud Page Name and URL on the Tagging Page


Go to the Sentio Page Tagging Page and click on the option: Click here to tag your Cloud Pages



Enter the Cloud Page name and URL in the given fields and Click on Submit button so that it will track the visits.

All Cloud Page details for your BU will be displayed in the below table.




The Cloud Page name is defined by you. You entered it when creating the Cloud Page.

You can access it by opening the respective page and copying the text/url:





NOTE: If the Cloud Page name is changed, make sure to update this name everyone. One the page itself and in the form.

3. Changes in the Email:

In order to track the individual visitors on the Cloud Page, Add ​the below code in the button/hyper link section “link URL” 




The number highlighted in yellow changes with each Cloud Page, it is called the Cloud Page ID. You will need to replace it with your respective Cloud Page ID.



Get the ID from the Cloud Page Details:


  

                 4. Add ‘cid’ value in Email:

CID is the campaign ID, generated in the campaign app (edynamics). Campaign ID’s are included in tracking links, to assess the traffic per channel.

Use case: you have created a survey on a Cloud page, or you have an event summary on a Cloud Page and you are driving traffic there via RTE (Veeva or MI) and via your M³Suite newsletters.
If you want to find out, which channel generated more traffic, you can create tracking links, embed one in the RTE and one in your M³Suite Newsletter.
In order to track the traffic, a different ‘cid’ value is embedded in each link. It can then be tracked on the Cloud Page.

Please paste the below code in the button/hyper link section “link URL” of the email:





The value highlighted in yellow changes with each ‘cid’ value. You will need to replace it with your respective ‘cid’ Value which is in the URL.
